PM Gilani made these remarks at Islamabad airport before leaving for Seoul to participate in the Nuclear Safety Summit, scheduled for tomorrow (Monday). He said he would hold meeting with US president Barack Obama and said that discussions on the situation in Afghanistan would take place.Moreover, the prime minister added that Pakistan needs civil nuclear technology and wants to obtain the technology.He again reiterated the government’s stance that the resumption of NATO supplies would be decided by the parliament and consensus would be developed for this purpose. He also stated that the decision to block NATO supplies was not taken upon the insistence of the opposition rather it was the government’s own decision.
